Registration is now open for the UCF High School Programming Tournament! It will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012! We have a few new, fun elements planned for this year! More info and registration are available.

Continued Success After UCF Programming Team

Based upon the wide wealth of knowledge and experience gained from being on the UCF Programming Team, team members go on to do incredible things after departing from UCF! Here are just a few examples:

  • Many have gone onto positions at very noteworthy companies including:

    • Electronic Arts
    • Facebook
    • Google
    • Harris

    • Industrial Light & Magic
    • Lockheed Martin

  • Past team members now work in such areas as biotech, anti-spam technologies, simulation, digital film effects, system software, supercomputing, web technologies, social networking, and games.

  • Some have gone on to create their own companies, becoming successful entrepreneurs with dozens of employees.

  • Others have made interesting discoveries and received patents for doing so!

  • Still others have gone onto advanced graduate work and, having received their Ph.D. degrees, now work as professors and research scientists at universities and companies throughout the nation.
